Cobalt Ikat

Hello friends! How's your week going? I'm having a busy last week of June with a new Tuesday-Thursday stint at PR Consulting as a fashion intern for the Dries Von Noten, Maje and The Row accounts. Now I'm there Monday through Friday, doubling as a beauty and fashion intern. Even though I come home hungry, sore and exhausted everyday (especially today!), I can't thank PRC enough for the chance to work with brands I admire. Don't you agree that it's better to appreciate than complain? :)

As I mentioned in my last post, my pops shot a series of photos for me in our garden. Hope you enjoy look number two.

Happy Sunday everyone! It's not my style to complain, but boy, am I glad it's the weekend. I caught a cold (surprisingly during this heat wave) for the first time in over a year, which made running around the city all the more exhausting. Thank goodness I recovered with some home cooking and hugs! Now that I'm home, I'm happily spending more time with my parents, grandparents, and brotherwhether we're all getting glammed up for a wedding, or whether I'm simply spending 10 minutes before bed to snuggle with grandma and enjoy music with grandpa. With them, life is perfect.

Last weekend, my dad and I spent a few hours in our backyard taking photos of each other with my new Nikon D3100 (graduation gift!). Coming from an artistic family that loves fashion, this was a fun and creative way to spend Father's Day. Here's the first look of our father-daughter photo shoot.

Light & Bright

Hi everyone! Is it just me, or does summer time operate on a faster schedule? I'm shocked that it's already my third week of interning at PR Consulting, and third week of not exercising. Who knew time to workout was such a luxury? Nonetheless, I am very excited for my packed schedule. For the first time, I'm going to see my core four girls (Jen, Su, Sandra, & Susan) and boyfriend all in one week! For those of you who don't know, I went to college in Boston so I was in long-distance relationships with all of them (except Susan). Life in NY is great.

As I mentioned in my previous post, Khiem took some pictures for me at his studio to help with my blog. Check out his awesome work on his site and FB Page! Look below for my second outfit:

Summer Neon

Hi everyone! Last month, I was lucky enough to get a private shoot with rising photographer, Khiem M. Tran. Even though I hadn’t seen him in two years, Khiem was kind enough to offer his expertise in support of my blog (though he usually charges $200 for a standard 3 hour shoot). Hence, I took a day out of my finals week to visit his studio where his lovely girlfriend (model, muse, makeup artist) Trang helped with the shoot. We chatted. We drank. We shot.
